Path of Mastery
A study hall for the proverbs, built the way a Stoic keeps a handbook: a few plain lines, read often, until they become the way you meet the day. Learn them by flashcard, walk a guided path of one meditation at a time, or test what has settled. Nothing here is a test of you. It is a practice you keep.
Flashcards
The Chinese sits on the front. Read it, hear it, then turn the card for the sound, the meaning, and a reading to sit with. Mark each one known or still learning as you go.

The Path
One proverb at a time, held as a short meditation. Read it, let the reading settle, then take the small action it asks of you before you move on. Your place is kept, so you can leave and return.

The Quiz
A proverb rises, and four meanings sit below it. Choose the one that fits. There is no clock and no penalty, only a quiet count of how many you have settled so far.

Where to go from here
When you have sat with enough of these, take them back into the world. Return to the whole library at the Proverb Pond, or read the years the proverbs belong to: the Year of the Rat, the Year of the Ox, and the Year of the Tiger each carry a line worth keeping. The full Chinese zodiac holds the rest.
